Recognition
Star Wine List is an international competition that celebrates the world's best wine lists, assessed not on size or cellar value but on curation, how thoughtfully a list is built, how well it complements the food, and how genuinely it invites a guest to explore.
The Best Newcomer List category recognises exactly that, but for restaurants and bars that have opened more recently. A Silver Star here means a wine programme judged exceptional right out of the gate, held to the same standard as venues with years, or decades, of history behind them.
For TOAST & OAK, this recognition in 2025 was an early marker that the wine list we set out to build, considered, approachable and worth exploring, was landing exactly as intended, right from opening.
