Recognition
The Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards recognise restaurants around the world for outstanding wine programmes, lists that are thoughtfully curated, well-matched to the food, and genuinely engaging for the guest. Each entry is reviewed independently by Wine Spectator's editorial team, judged on selection, presentation and overall wine experience.
The Award of Excellence is the Guide's entry point for that recognition, given to restaurants whose wine lists offer a well-chosen selection complementary to their cuisine, a meaningful mark of quality among thousands of restaurants considered worldwide each year.
For TOAST & OAK, it's recognition of a wine programme built the same way we cook: with intention, curiosity and a genuine desire to share something worth discovering, glass by glass.
